An Experienced Biology and Parasitology Professional, and Lecturer at the Faculty of Biological Sciences with Federal University of Technology Owerri, with 20+ years cumulative track record in academic teaching, course evaluations, laboratory experiments, scientific paper authorship, technical writing and thought leadership in Nigeria and diaspora institutions. Prior to that, she was Dean of Student Affairs from 2014 to 2018, a Lecturer at the Department of Microbiology from 2009 to 2018, and an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Microbiology from 2005 to 2007 with Renaissance University Enugu. Had started her teaching and research career as Demonstrator in Bioscience Courses at the Faculty of Biological Sciences with University of Nigeria Nsukka from 2005 to 2007, a Science Teacher with Usman Danfodio University Secondary School Sokoto from 2003 to 2004, and a Science Teacher at the Department of Biology with Urban Development Secondary School Owerri in 2001. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Parasitology in 2018, Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Parasitology in 2007, and Bachelor of Science in Education Biology (BSc.Ed.) degree in 2002, from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Has completed professional training in Results Based Management with United Nations Women, Racial Equity with the ASLO Space, Entrepreneurship through SME Financing, and the Techniques in Bioinformatics and Computational Biochemistry.
A Professional Member of the Zoological Society of Nigeria (ZSN), Association for Sciences of Limnology and Oceaonography (ASLO), Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN), Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), and Nigerian Women in Agricultural Research for Development (NiWARD). Serves as an Independent Director and President of the Training Program Advisory Council at Lowase Management Consulting, from 2023 till date.
