Mark Onoja has an extensive track record in Project Management Services, Startup Growth Consulting, and Business Development Services, since 2013. He is the Co-Founder of the Startup Place Limited offering Startup Incubation, and Small Business Accelerator solutions to ideation, startup, growth and mature stage ventures in Nigeria and the Global South. He holds a Bachelor in Building degree from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 2011, and currently pursues a global Masters in Business Administration from the Nexford University USA. He is a Certified Business Development Service Provider at the Lagos Business School Enterprise Development Centre, an Accredited Train-the-Trainer in Enterprise Development at GIZ Germany, an Accredited Train-the-Trainer in Boost Your Business at Facebook, Certified Project Management Professional at Project Management Institute, and Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He has completed the Professional Human Resources Management Training at Piston & Fusion in 2021, Emerging Entreprenuer Training at the Fate Foundation in 2019, UI/UX Design Training at Google in 2017, Digital Marketing Certificate at Google Digital Skills for Africa in 2017, Business Modelling Short Course by Strategyzer in 2016, Persuasion and Communication Management at the Nesburg School of Business and Management in 2013, Basic Leadership Course at the Daystar Leadership Academy in 2010, amongst others.

His passion for transforming the portfolio of business owners, serial entrepreneurs and social organizations, is evident in his prior engagements with the Lagos Business School Enterprise Development Center, Daystar Business Academy, Fate Foundation, and Tony Elumelu Foundation. His key achievements were the provision of facilitated training, business facilitation and strategy planning support to ten (10) cohorts of about three hundred (300) SMEs each at the Daystar Business Academy since 2017; provision of facilitated coaching, market support and growth support to over twenty (20) startups at the Lagos Business School Enterprise Development Center since 2021; provision of mentorship and business support to accelerate growth with more than three (3) startups at the Fate Foundation program since 2022; and the provision of business support services and growth plan direction to 10 beneficiaries of the Tony Elumelu Foundation from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, he was responsible for personal development training of over 100 entry-level professionals and mid-level managers, and provision of business development services including product design and business plans for over twenty (20) MSMEs at the Plets Consults from 2014 to 2015. His first professional stint was in the training of over one hundred (100) Youth Corp Members in Nigeria, facilitation of design thinking sessions and development of management training curriculum at the Pneuma Project Experts Inc from 2013 to 2014.
